Last night while grilling out, I sat on the edge of the porch stairs and was overwhelmed with thankfulness. For on that very porch seven years ago, Matt and I sat dreaming of the day we would have a child of our own playing in our yard.
I did not notice the peeling paint, the splotches of test paints on the wall or the tissue that one of our fur babies had torn up. All those things are no longer of huge importance to me. All I could see was my precious family. All I could hear was the sweet laughter coming from Gracelyn Faith as she climbed up and down the stairs and my husband talking about his day.
Thank you, God! Thank you for blessing us so abundantly.
Proverbs 15:17
17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is,
Than a fatted calf with hatred.
Than a fatted calf with hatred.
~Farah~
Amen!! I am so glad God blessed you and us with little Gracelyn:-)
