Six Fast Precious Months

Six month ago our lives changed forever. Little Miss Gracelyn Faith was born on September 30 at 8:38 am. She was a whopping 7 pounds and 5 ounces and 20 inches long. Today our precious girl is six month old and weighs 14 pounds and is 25 inches long. There are no words to explain how much we love our Itty Bitty.
Gracelyn, you were so worth the long wait. We love you!

Thank you, God for a husband that puts you first. Thank you, God for my family. Thank you, God for saying no to so many of my prayers. Thank you, God for always knowing what’s best for me. Thank you, God for always standing by me and guiding me. Thank you, God for my friends. Thank you, God for your grace. Thank you, God for my health. Thank you, God! Thank you, God! Thank you, God!

Dear Gracelyn,

I just read the most beautiful post by Erin from Rare & Beautiful Treasures. She wrote a heartfelt post to her newborn son. Her sweet words have inspired me to write Gracelyn Faith a letter to tell her about our long journey to her. I want to tell her how badly we wanted her. Tell her of the countless prayers that were prayed for her…just her. How our hearts longed to hold and kiss her. Oh how we ached for her for so very long. But most importantly, I want to tell her how grateful we are to God for making her for us. Please pray that God gives me just the right words to write.
